Continue reading for the video. While the formant synthesis waveforms don't sound exactly like the original words, the vocoder-like effect is pretty cool, and definitely not something that I thought you could do with the DS-10 cart. Credit is due to Denkitribe, who used the musically inclined gray matter in his noggin to tweak the analog sound waveforms available in DS-10 to sound like words from Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger. Is it perfect? No. But it's a stellar effort I watched all the way through, so there. Not bad for a $20 cartridge, and in any event it sounds better than an autotuned Kanye West. [technabob] ...
