Nokia's $556 N85 lands at Amazon with a "list price" of $1,200 — "You save $644.01!" — but the site cautions that it will arrive after December 24th.
The N85 is a GSM/WiFi model that runs Symbian and has a 5 megapixel camera and GPS. The stout price, however, is explained by its active-matrix OLED display. According to Nokia, this gives it a higher resolution at a bigger size than passive OLED technology: 2.6" at 320x240.

If you happen to have a wad of spare cash and looking for a Nokia N85 you may want to pop over to Amazon.com, as apparently they have a Nokia N85 up for sale at $556.00, which they state is heavily discounted from the list price of $1,200.
The Nokia N85 is an unlocked US version and comes with warranty, and is available to purchase immediately, although they say there is three to five week shipping time.
It’s always a bit of a surprise to see one of Nokia’s N-series handsets drop way down on price, but it’s all good for the customer, and who knows, if you get it now you may just receive the Nokia N85 in time for Christmas.

Amazon have begun to offer the Nokia N85 cellphone, unlocked for use with any US GSM carrier. As is perhaps unsurprising, you pay through the nose for the privilege of not being tied to a two-year contract: the N85 retails for $555.99, apparently less than half its $1,2k MRSP.
The N85 has a 2.6-inch AMOLED QVGA display, HSDPA connectivity together with WiFi b/g, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera. It runs the Symbian S60 OS and is suitable for the US spec 3G bands used by carriers T-Mobile and AT&T.
Delivery is expected “within 3 to 5 weeks”, which means that you won’t get the N85 as a Christmas present. It’s possible that now that Nokia have crafted ...

We first saw the reports that the Nokia N85 would be heading to the US a few months back and now it looks like it has almost made an appearance. Well, technically it is available for you to purchase. However it is currently listed with a 2 to 4 week shipping time, so it will be a little while before you will have it in-hand. The listed N85 comes in Copper and is unlocked for use in the US. The one drawback here is the price—$555.59.
