Expectativa por el Nokia World 2008
Celularis —

Nokia flagship N-series touchscreen smartphone imminent?
SlashGear —
... Nokia are preparing to launch what could be the company’s flagship touchscreen cellphone this coming week. The device, which according to Robert Scoble no internet rumor has yet pinned down exactly, is believed to be a high-end handset which only “a handful of people” within Nokia have seen. Scoble suggests that it could include Broadcom’s new chipset that combines WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth, which the company themselves confirm is “just about” to be announced. ...
Nokia teases major new product launching tomorrow
Engadget —
... Interesting. Our pal and yours Robert Scoble says that Nokia execs are running around bragging that "the Internet" is totally in the dark on this one, and that only a small number of people within the company have seen the new device. That's certainly got our ears perked up -- we're guessing this is something a little more major than that hinted-at touch Communicator. We'll let you know right away if you want to stay up with us -- the event is scheduled for 3:15AM EST. Read - Scoble's take Read - Nokia countdown clock Filed under: Cellphones ...
Blackberry’s Imperfect Storm
LIVEdigitally —
... Instead, the BlackBerry Storm might just be the mullet of phones. It’s probably the best “other” touchscreen phone on the market (so far), but that’s just not good enough. There are plenty of ways to compete with the iPhone, and I’m dissappointed at the lack of originality and creative thinking displayed by other cell phone manufacturers. Something tells me the best competition will come out of left field, the way Asus first innovated with their eeePC. I hope the clever product people at RIM who’s ideas got shot down to ...

IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis —
... we were hearing about a touchscreen number from Nokia called Eitri with proper haptic feedback, a 640 x 350 display, 5 megapixel camera, FM transmitter in a slider formfactor, but Nokia execs have made it loud and clear that none of the blogs have been able to nail down what they’ve been working on. Well, now you’ve got us tickled curious - do your worst, you wily Finns, we’ll be listening on Wednesday. Keep an eye on that countdown…

Secret Nokia Plans
Mobilewhack.com —
... In a good promotion effort by Nokia, they’ve presented a countdown timer on their website which is somehow related with plans to launch something big, and for now it is still a secret. Could it be a new cellphone? A new service? A handset to compete with the iPhone? We will only know exactly in 7 hours from now, more specifically at 3:15AM Eastern time. PS - According to Scoble and an unknown Nokia executive, it is a new device and surprisingly it hasn’t been leaked yet, unlike previous Nokia secrets. ...
Nokia has more up its sleeve than just the N97
Mobile Mentalism» The best mobile phones from the best mobile phone UK site – MobileMentalism —
... Today's Tuesday (well, it's not, its 12:38am when I'm writing this, so technically it's Wednesday, but you know what I mean!), and the N97 has already been announced. If Scoble's right, and there are more announcements to come on Wednesday morning, then Nokia must have something even bigger up their sleeves than the world's best Facebook phone and a new Home Music Streamer!
Or, Scoble just got confused with time zones and confused Wednesday with Tuesday!
