Nokia Rolls Out N85 and N79 Smartphones [Cellphones]

Nokia is looking to bring the Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 to the UK next month for an as-yet unknown price-tag. As far as the US is concerned, the FCC has already green-lighted the Nokia N85 for duty in The States, so we’re hoping to see it sooner rather than later.

This N85, like the previous N81 is thought to be an N-Gage friendly phone. It has an 8GB microSDHC card and also gives the owners an option of upgrading to an impressive 16GB or more later on if wanted. They can access the internet through the WiFi or HSDPA-based 3G, although we’re not aware if it has international support yet.

... Meanwhile, the Nokia N79 will be the “new” N78, despite the fact that the N78 has been out for a grand total of 5 months. Updated features include another bump up to 5 megapixels and “full 3G.” The N79’s back cover will be released in different colors, similar to the Xpress-On covers of old.
No word yet on prices, but all signs point to these phones being more affordable than previous iterations. More on this tomorrow.

You would think that with these phones soon to be released, that we would have a price on them. Unfortunately, we don’t. I suppose we’ll have to wait to see how Nokia does their “London Calling”.
