To be totally honest, this looks like a way sexier version of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip, and by offering GPS, Nokia has beat RIM to launching the BlackBerry 8210 down the line. The half-QWERTY layout will appeal to heavy texters as well as light e-mail users who still dig the flip form factor. Hopefully RIM will take a cue from the Wahoo for the next flip they release, and make something a little less chubby.

Current word has it that the Nokia Wahoo will launch with AT&T, given the nature of the 850/1900 UMTS radio. I’m not sure if the Wahoo will be a smartphone in the traditional sense, but it could bea good competitor for the BlackBerry Pearl Flip. ... main display and 1.36 inch front display.
The half-QWERTY keyboard looks similar to the one featured on the Blackberry 8220 Pearl Flip phone currently turning heads at T-mobile (or not). The entire device looks like a weird cross between the 8220 and the RAZR.
Quote from BGR specs: “In the smart phone QWERTY category, “WAHOO” will stand out as stylish and one of the few options in the familiar and preferred fold form.”
