Is Saygus' VPhone V1 Verizon's Next Android Phone? [Rumors]
Gizmodo — ... I've never heard of Saygus either, but their CDMA-ready V1 has just cleared the FCC, and looking at Saygus' own Website, you could get the impression that it's the mysterious third Verizon smartphone submitted through the carrier's Open Development program. ...

Saygus VPhone V1 hits the FCC, headed for Verizon next?
Engadget — We had some indication that Verizon would have a third Android device ready by early 2010 in addition to the DROID and ERIS -- one that may be boosted by the carrier's Open Development program -- and it looks like the FCC may have now given us our first real look at it. While it's obviously still unconfirmed as of yet, this Saygus VPhone V1 phone that recently sailed through the agency certainly seems to ...

The Saygus VPhone V1 clears FCC, Will this be Verizon’s next Android device?
Android Community — A recent FCC filing has revealed what could be the third Android offering from Verizon wireless network. Rumors back in October about a small company bringing another Android phone through the Open Development program to Big Red seem to be in the right track. We all have been so excited with the latest news on the DROID devices from Motorola and HTC, that we forgotten about what could be the next Android on Verizon. Apparently that device could be the Saygus VPhone V1, which also has a sliding form-factor with a 3.5-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen. The camera, as you can see on the images, will be a 5-megapixel with autofocus. It will sport a 624MHz Marvell PXA310 processor and 512MB of ROM with 256MB of ...

More Android: Saygus VPhone V1 Clears FCC, Headed to Verizon
Unwired View — Today we have Droid and Droid Eris releasing on Verizon. Apparently that means it’s old news because already we have learned of another possible Verizon Android device coming down the pipeline. This particular one is called the Saygus VPhone V1 and has already cleared the FCC for approval. Saygus is a relatively new player on the market, though this would certainly give immediate name-recognition to the brand. Besides having EVDO Rev A, how can we be so sure the VPhone is coming to Verizon? Saygus’ own website is confirming it. They mention this to be not only the third Android phone to come to Verizon, but also the first to be approved via Verizon’s own Open Development Program. We ...

Android-powered Saygus VPhone V1 is at the FCC
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis — I haven’t heard about this phone (and manufacturer) before, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad product. Quite the contrary, as its specs include 5-megapixel camera, 3.5-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, 624MHz Marvell PXA310 processor, WiFi, GPS, microSD card slot, and that great lookin’ keyboard. We’ve no idea which carrier will end up adding this baby to its ...
