OSX On a Vaio P But Not Fully Functional… Yet
The UberReview —
A very interesting picture has popped up recently showing a semi-working installation of OSX on a Vaio P by a person going by the name of DaHarder. While all of the drivers are not presently working, surely that is just a matter of time. Congratulations DaHarder, for getting there first. [Pocketables Forums via BBG]

Sony VAIO P gets Apple OS X Leopard hack
SlashGear —
... to Apple briefly using the 4500 chipset Sony have picked for the VAIO P in a number of notebooks before their switch to NVIDIA. Even so, there are plenty of missing drivers and hurdles to get over, including the Atheros WiFi, GPS and the custom power management.
We’re hoping the person responsible - who apparently goes by the handle “DaHarder” - comes forward with some more details. The thought of a 1.4 pound OS X ultraportable is awfully tempting.

OS X Running on a Sony Vaio P? [Unconfirmed]
Gizmodo —
... guide, hardware support is everything-a netbook running OS X with no networking, sound or graphics at the native resolution is certainly no fun, which is why the Mini 9 is one of the best netbooks for Hackintoshing. My first question with this photo is-where is the taskbar? And why not release more detailed information on the process, Mr. DaHarder? Anyway, if this eventually pans out, the Vaio P would be a fun OS X machine. Fingers crossed. {Pocketables via BBG]
