Take these numbers with a grain of salt because no official records have been released by Palm yet. My bet is they are waiting for a truly startling number to occur before they release any information. The Palm Pre looks to be doing pretty well, especially with the amount of downloads the App Catalog has seen. Hopefully, Palm and Sprint can keep up with consumer demand.

The WCDMA version would be launched by Telefonica (NYSE: TEF) sometime this fall (September-ish)… and when you put that together with Sprint (NYSE: S), and a planned launch by Bell north-of-the-border… The outlook and cashflow issues are lookin’ pretty darn good for Palm these days.

A WCDMA version of the phone according to Snyder appears imminent, which could mean that the company could reach cash flow break sooner than expected. It is anticipated that they will launch a WCDMA Pre with Telefonica in September, with shipments starting in time for the holiday season. That combined with Sprint and the already talked about roll out by Bell Mobility in Canada, could and should drive sales above 1 million a month.
