Concept Peugeot 360 reinvents the wheel
T3.com All — ... 360 degree manoeuvrability. There's some mention of pulleys but it doesn't quite seem to add up. Although there's good reason for having spherical wheels, namely agility, we're also having a hard time accepting that the spherical design really will make anything run more efficiently. We think perhaps wheels have stayed wheel-shaped for so long is that it's already a pretty decent design. Still, if anyone is likely to give it a whirl, it's probably Peugeot.
