All OLEDs need to be created in a 'clean' room, with a single particle able to destroy an entire screen. So you can imagine how sky high the production costs will be. Philips Research is busy working on transparent OLEDs that can be used as glasses for windows. The transparent OLED is a concept for now which looks like a normal window when turned off but illuminates when it is turned on. Philips has prepared a 12cm prototype and claims that it could take a few years before it hits the retail market.
