Does this handheld gaming system look familiar at all? When I first saw it, I had to do a double-take too.
While the PXP-900 steals more thant a few of it’s design cues from the Sony PSP, don’t expect it to play the latest PSP games - it only plays retro game ROMs. The system ...

PXP-900 retro gaming with a familiar face
SlashGear —
... NES, Famicom, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Super Famicom and SEGA MegaDrive. Onboard storage is 2GB, and it functions as a PMP too, playing up to 25fps 320 x 240 video in a variety of formats on its 4.3-inch display.
There’s also a TV out connector, integrated camera (of unspecified resolution) and FM radio. You can even add to the storage with up to 4GB SD cards. Not bad for $89.99 in a choice of black, white, red or blue.

PXP-900 Is a PSP That Plays Tons of Emulation Games [Emulation]

... sprites, the PSP-900 is $90 worth spending. The thing has a 4.3-inch screen, almost the same amount of face and shoulder buttons as the PSP, but it only supports "NES, Famicom, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Super Famicom, SEGA MegaDrive and some sort of 32-bit ROM." No actual PSP playing here—but that's not the point, is it? Then again, if you already HAVE a PSP, you can always just hack it and play emulation games that way. PXP looks like a PSP, emulates the classics
Boing Boing Gadgets —
At $90, it's simply too expensive, but this PSP knockoff runs ROMS from lots of classic systems: NES, SNES, Gameboy 'n' Color, and the Megadrive/Genesis. As Gizmodo commenter Zaxxon Q Blaque points out, it appears to be a Dingoo in PSP clothing. [Chinagrabber via Technabob and Giz]
