BlackBerry sales reach 50 million milestone for RIM
Phones Review —
... BlackBerry smartphones sold sound huge doesn’t it and it is for RIM, but when you also take into account Symbian was on virtually 80 million mobile handsets in 2007 alone and is on ¼ billion mobile handset today, RIM’s 50 million doesn’t sound do great.
Last year, Windows Mobile pulled in 20 million handsets again in one year. So yes we can understand Research In Motion wanting to celebrate their milestone accomplishment, but they still have far to go.
