TheFlo This is awesome. Porsche had been getting heat from the EU for not passing emission standards. But how can they? They have a far superior engine than almost any other street car in Europe. I'm glad Porsche is reinventing themselves to still deliver a quality product. My Dad owns a Porsche and it's AWESOME! Too bad I can't drive stick :(

OK, it's not quite got the performance of the original (not least, because of the extra weight) and it might lack that sports car 'growl', but it's not a million miles away and should save you a fortune in fuel over a few years. Just a shame you can't buy one then. Ruf has introduced this as a concept, but as it's not far off the finished article, there's every chance it could hit the market as early as 2009.
