Gizmodo — According to various SD Times sources, including one inside Cisco, Google is exploring the idea of dumping Juniper Networks in favor of building it's own routers to handle their ever-expanding need for bandwidth. It seems unlikely that Google would go all in on the hardware end like this, but whether they partner up or not, just a rumor is enough to make companies like Cisco nervous—and send Juniper stock into a tailspin.
