Bad news people, the Samsung TL225 camera that was released this August ? Yeah, it’s pretty much a pile of crap. The front screen is off center, so your pictures look like everyone is staring off to the side, the touchscreen response (the only way to control the camera’s settings) ...

Gizmodo — ... double-screen-toting DualView TL225. Well, at least they would be helping if the camera wasn't as laggy and unresponsive as Wired found it to be. While Wired thought that the front display is fantastic for snapping pics of oneself, they weren't so happy about the picture quality, responsiveness, and durability of the camera. I think I'd just plain spend the $300 bucks on something else and ask another person to assist me with narcissistic photo-taking. [Wired via Crunchgear] ...

SlashGear — ... Wired found, but unfortunately it then encourages those in the picture to look to the side of the lens. The end result is a well-framed photo with nobody looking at the camera. As for the TL225’s image abilities themselves, photos are reportedly less than impressive in anything other than bright light, and there’s plenty of shutter lag in-between pressing the button and the shot being captured.
