La resolución nativa es de 1280×960 píxeles, con una velocidad de 30fps por lo que es bastante fluido, pero si se quiere que sea aun más fluido, puede hacer tomas de 60fps pero a resolución VGA (640×480 píxeles).
Se espera que se empiece a vender a los fabricantes a principios de 2009, por lo que no más tarde se podrían empezar a ver los primeros portátiles con webcam de alta definición.
