Gadget Leak: Samsung R470 Clamshell Phone
Gadgetreview —
... Samsung’s latest phone to hit the US, the R470, showed up on the FCC’s site this week. There’s nothing too head spinning about the handset, but those looking for a relatively simple flip phone will enjoy its clamshell design, large keypad, and external display with stereo speakers. BGR thinks it will show up on US Cellular, but there’s really not much more info to go on. Just enjoy the R470’s orange allure.

New Samsung R470 clamshell at FCC for US Cellular
Phones Review —
... Samsung R470 clam features fairly comprehensive external controls probably with a music slant, Bluetooth, dedicated camera key, dual displays, headphone jack, and microSD expansion slot.
Apparently the “draft user manual” refers to “easyedge” which probably indicated this Samsung orange coloured clamshell is heading for US Cellular. Strangely though the Samsung R470 isn’t mentioned on the FCC as having EV-DO which seems strange for a mobile phone of this sort.
