Is Saygus' VPhone V1 Verizon's Next Android Phone? [Rumors]
Gizmodo —
... On its site, Saygus mentions the "mystery third Verizon Android device" article, which reiterates how the Open Development program is designed to make it quick and easy to get devices onto Verizon's CDMA network. The phone has decent specs, and definitely looks better than the cheapy Motorola "Calgary" Android phone. If the Saygus is actually headed for Verizon, it'll be interesting to see which arrives first. [AndroidPhones via SlashGear] 800x480 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen; - 624 MHz Marvell ...
Saygus VPhone V1 hits the FCC, headed for Verizon next?

... comes to specs. That includes a 3.5-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, a 624MHz Marvell PXA310 processor, a 5-megapixel camera, a second, front-facing camera for video calls, built-in GPS, WiFi, a microSD card slot and even an FM radio, among other standard fare. Still no indication of that rumored WiFi tethering out of the box, unfortunately, but we're guessing this one could win quite a few fans if that pans out -- and, of course, if it's actually the real thing.

The camera, as you can see on the images, will be a 5-megapixel with autofocus. It will sport a 624MHz Marvell PXA310 processor and 512MB of ROM with 256MB of RAM, there will be a microSD slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS too. And for those who love to do video calls, there’s also a front-facing camera. There’s no arrival date or price just yet, but the way Verizon is going, I’ll say early 2010?

Third Verizon Android Phone has Video Calling?
Android Phone Fans —
... how this will work exactly, and just what charges may be included are not yet known but the potential sure is amazing. According to Saygus, the phone will come pre-loaded with: “Saygus Propietary Real-Time, Two-Way Mobile Video Calling Software – 24 to 30 Frames Per Second.” On top of live messaging, Saygus will be allowing for Short Video Messages (SVM’s perhaps?) for the price of $2.99 per month.
The hardware looks promising as well, you can see more pictures here.

Not bad. The processor could always welcome a nice bump up in speed, though 624 is still quite respectable for current standards.
Here are a few pics from the FCC files.
Likely release timeframe is set to be early 2010 as of now, but is not confirmed and always subject to change.
