Sierra Wireless USB 598 3G Modem: No Verizon Contract Needed

We haven’t seen a rush of unlocked phones hit the market but Sierra Wireless was paying attention and have released the USB 598 3G modem. The USB 598 can be purchased anywhere and activated on an existing Verizon data plan. This eliminates the normal renewing of a 2-year contract buy switching to a new device.
