Fujifilm Real3D Cam To Release in September
Boing Boing Gadgets — ... do the math... OK, I'll tell you: That's ~$935, which is $300 more than Time's estimate. Ooof! As we've explained previously, the camera uses two lenses to capture images that are combined to display either on one composite 3-D pic (below) or via a special 8-inch digi picture frame. More details at Fujifilm, provided you read Japanese. Or in Americanese at DPReview [link via Gizmodo].

That's all well and good, but how will those 3D pics and videos really look? Hard to say before the Real 3D W1 comes out in September (no price yet), but we're excited to find out.
