As we've explained previously, the camera uses two lenses to capture images that are combined to display either on one composite 3-D pic (below) or via a special 8-inch digi picture frame.

That's all well and good, but how will those 3D pics and videos really look? Hard to say before the Real 3D W1 comes out in September (no price yet), but we're excited to find out. We're thinking something short of R2-D2's Princess Leia hologram, but probably better than those dumb Super Bowl ads.
