Snow Leopard update does not kill Atom support, at least for now
Tech Ticker —
... It was claimed that the 10.6.2 Snow Leopard update would not support Atom processors, effectively killing the hackintosh scene. Now the word is that the latest seed of the update brings back the Atom support.
The developer seed 10C535 has enabled Atom support and with that the possibility of installing Mac OS X on netbooks. However, despite the glimmer of hope, it’s still not known if Apple will let the Atom support remain in the final release.
