Sony Ericsson Adds Apps to PlayNow

As part of the launch, Sony is announcing a new partnership with GetJar, which is offering its library of over 45,000 free applications via PlayNow. Sony Ericsson also said that it will begin accepting applications from developers starting July 1. PlayNow apps will initially support Java ME and Symbian OS. Additional platforms will be supported later this year.
