Sony’s first ever 8 megapixel camera phone will be hitting US shores any day now thanks to a tip from an FCC filing. Expect 850/1900 WCDMA bands, Xenon flash, 3 LED video light, image stabilizer, face detect, auto rotate, 16x digital zoom (hate it), video recording at 320×240, mechanical lens cover and possibly WiFi and GPS.
At best guess, we can expect the C905 in the first half of 2009.
