GadgetReview — Late last week we got word of a new Sony camera called the Cybershot DSC-HX1 and today the company officially unveiled it.  And, much like the cached retailer’s page we saw, the camera sports a 3-inch (or 2.7-inc) LCD, 9.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, 20x optical zoom and full HD movie recording capabilities.  What wasn’t previously known was that the camera is able to take 224-degree horizontal or 154-degree vertical shots, which all get stitched together on the fly thanks to Sony’s BIONZ imaging processor.  The HX1 also includes a Cybershot first, a 1/2.4-inch Exmor CMOS sensor.
