CES 2009: Sony VAIO P Officially Unveiled

... unveils the VAIO P Netbook at CES 2009. Aside from the Intel Atom processor, it boasts "Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and both EVDO and HSPA data courtesy of Qualcomm's Gobi chipset." Click here for first picture in gallery.
What's more, with the FCC providing the exact measurement of that label (128-mm wide), we can eyeball dimensions at just over 9.5 x 4.5-inches making this netbook even smaller than the 10.3 x 6.56-inch HP mini 1000.

... Vaio P portable device but never managed to get the picture in full glory. Well, here it is. Engadget, taking advantage of the official partner status managed to sneak in some photos from the large display monitors placed at the Sony booth. It looks good but don’t expect it to be cheap.
By the way, our wild guess was spot on. This device does not have a trackpad and the nub will handle all the mouse pointing duties.

I am a declared anti-netbook person but with the more small laptops arrive out there, the more I am considering getting one. The Vaio P should arrive soon and it will probably be the most expensive netbook in its class.
