New Browser Plug-In Spots Bias In News Stories

A startup called SpinSpotter reportedly plans to unveil at DEMOfall 08 a new BROWSER TOOLBAR THAT SPOTS BIASED REPORTING IN NEWS STORIES, according to a report in tomorrow's Wall Street Journal. It achieves this by searching for "opinionated language, sources with conflicts of interest and an over-reliance on text from corporate and political press releases."
