Treo Pro and a pink Instinct coming to Sprint in January
CrunchGear —
... Pro is coming to the U.S. via Sprint on January 25 for $549.99, before rebates. Also expect to see a pink Instinct available in early January. I’m curious to see how many pink Instincts they actually sell. My guess is that we’ll see a few of them among the pink-loving teenage girls who text each other every 10 seconds. Maybe this and a new Android phone will help Sprint come back from the 3 million customers it has lost this year. Probably not.

Rumor Confirmed: Palm Treo Pro heading to Sprint in January

... information, we do know that the Treo Pro sells unlocked for $549, but we can expect a subsidy to bring that down a bit. Hopefully we will see something in the mid $2xx price range.
Additionally, along with the Palm Treo Pro, it looks like Sprint will also be adding the Motorola i365IS and a new color for the Instinct. The new color, which will be pink is expected to be available beginning January 7, and the i365IS will be available on January 11.

Palm confirms Nova launch at CES, products in first half of 2009
Engadget —
... to businesses. Speaking of the Treo Pro, Palm mentioned that it'd be bringing its top-of-the-line WinMo device to a US carrier this carrier -- we think we know which one -- but the big news is unquestionably Nova, which will be released on a range of all-new hardware starting in the first half of '09. It claims that carriers who've seen the platform are "unversally excited" about it, which we suppose is a good start -- but the real trick, of course, is to get consumers universally excited about it as well. ...
Sprint's pink Instinct shows up on Best Buy's site for outrageous price
Engadget —
... We'd pegged early January for the release of a pink Samsung Instinct on Sprint's airwaves, and Best Buy's doing everything it can to help us hold the line on that with a new "Coming Soon" page advertising just such a product. Unfortunately, they're asking a whopping $599.99 for the pleasure of being the first kid on your block with this thing, but the off-contract pricing in Best Buy's system is usually way out of whack -- we wouldn't worry about paying anything close to $200 on contract by the time you actually step into the store. ...
Sprint's Treo Pro in the wild, now with more box

... . As far as we can tell, this sucker is still on track for release before the end of the month, and with retail packaging floating around, it seems at least plausible -- so here's hoping, eh? ...
