Sprint Claims That It Is The Pioneer In 3G Femtocell Technology
PhoneArea.net —
Sprint has made a claim that it will be the very first carrier to be introducing 3G femtocell technology into the market. The company spokesman said that, just as it was the first to bring in 2G tech, it would also be the pioneer in 3G technology as well.
This claim comes close on the heels of AT&T releasing an announcement about the release of its 3G femtocell in the US, by 2009 end. Sprint, though, did not give any additional info about the price of the device or the rate of service plans.
