Palm Treo Pro coming to Sprint on March 15

Sprint will be selling Palm’s Windows Mobile based Treo Pro phone from the 15th of this month. Treo Pro is the first Palm offering to have Microsoft’s IE Mobile 6 browser. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and features Wi-Fi, QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen display, GPS and 3G. The phone will sell for $199 along with a 2-year contract.

If you remember the 15th of March was rumoured to be the launch date of the new Palm Pre, so at least that rumour was only partially wrong, and rather than the Palm Pre it’s the Palm Treo Pro.
So how about that Sprint price? Well the Sprint branded Palm Treo Pro will set you back $199.00 when signing up for a two year contract. So there it is you can grab it as if the 15th of this month.
