But hey, let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he always saw little R2 as a character in the Star Wars universe that's meant to appeal to people who are in a weakened state, like the sick. Perhaps as one of the more child-friendly characters, he is hoping that this simple plush adornment will help kids make it through a tough time of sickness.
On the other hand, maybe he just loves money. Who knows?
