Mine, too, makes a slight noise when tapping (not clicking) on the left of the trackpad, but not the right. But I'd hardly characterize it as "low-quality". The trackpad is a moving part. I would expect some sound as it contacts whatever it's sitting on, even when you tap instead of click.  ...
