Rumor: BlackBerry 8900 pricing revealed
CrunchGear —
After over 6 months of rumbling around the rumor mill, the T-Mobile-branded BlackBerry 8900 is almost upon us. We’ve got purported release dates (January 19th for corporate users, February 11th for the general public) and we’ve had the specs for ages, so there was really only one thing left: the pricing. ‘Till now, of course.
According to BlackBerryRocks, the 8900 will be priced accordingly:
No Contract: $499
2-year contract: $199.99 (After $300 instant ...
T-Mobile BlackBerry 8900 Corporate Pricing Revealed
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis —
... $499.99 MSRP
2 YR Agreement
$300 instant rebate = $199.99
1 YR Agreement
$250 instant rebate = $249.99
Yeah, that sounds about right. The BlackBerry 8900 will likely rope in a lot of enterprise folks who have been jealous of their boss’ Bold, but were still looking for something a little slimmer. Of course, the nicer camera doesn’t hurt either, especially if you don’t mind the lack of 3G.

Update: I called Corporate sales and they couldn’t confirm the above, provide a release date or see anything in their computer relating to the 8900.

BlackBerry Curve 8900 on T-Mobile business customer prices
Phones Review —
... 19th of January, but as yet there’s been no word on business customer prices, that is up until now.
