T-Mobile wants to provide their customers high-speed data service allowing customers to experience the full data capabilities of the device and their 3G network. The actual terms for the new data plans are still in progress but once they have the data plans finalised they will be letting us all know, all in good time ready for the release of the T-Mobile G1.

Well, that’s nice and dandy, but I’m curious what constitutes “abuse”? Will it be the top 1% busiest of their subscribers? 2%? 5%? I’m also wondering why they’re so touchy about bandwidth now that their 3G network expansion is in full swing.
