Toshiba G450: USB memory stick, mp3 player, mobile broadband dongle, and phone!
Recently I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Toshiba G450 – a diminutive little device that is multi-functional – which is a bit of an understatement! The G450 works as a USB memory stick, an mp3 player, a mobile broadband modem, and a phone! Of these, might I suggest that the primary uses ...

Toshiba's unusual G450 cellphone / MP3 player / HSDPA USB modem reviewed, liked
Engadget — ... IntoMobile went hands on with the USB memory stick / alarm clock with snooze / MP3 player / 7.2Mbps HSDPA USB modem / tri-band GSM cellphone and came away with the opinion that "the device is excellent." It pulled a respectable 2.7Mbps off O2's UK network and performed reasonably well as a "backup phone." The 160MB of storage for MP3 / AAC music playback was disappointing but it served its purpose in a pinch. Still, that's a lot of device for £140. Toshiba Packs Phone, MP3 Player and USB Stick into a Modem
Wired: Gadget Lab — ... available in parts of Europe. It uses HSDPA for its connection, so it will keep connected to the internet if a call comes in, and can fall back to EDGE if 3G isn't available. The worst part seems to be the rather poor storage -- just 160MB. This is certainly rather pathetic for use as a thumb drive, and for storing MP3s it is next to useless. Still, as a modem with benefits, it's not too bad, even is it does cost as much as a US iPhone. Product page [Toshiba via Into Mobile via Engadget] ...

Toshiba G450: It’s a cell phone. HSDPA USB modem and MP3 player
PR News: — ... it reached up to 2.7Mbps on O2’s UK network, and performed well when using the internet. Its USB facility offers up to 160mb of storage for you to use, while its other main function, being a phone performed well as a ‘backup’. Its music feature offered playback including all the usual formats too, but 160mb wasnt ideal for putting a lot of content on. They concluded that Toshiba’s device was excellent, and was a good value for £140 considering all the features within. Read the full review here.
