New Microsoft Blue Track Mouse spotted on Amazon?
CrunchGear — Microsoft might just have a little surprise up their sleeve. First, Redmond teases, and entices, us on their hardware website with an upcoming announcement message. “9.9.08 - Say Goodbye to Lasers.” All right, oh creator of the first laser mouse, what are we going to say “Hello” to then.  Then these images were spotted on Germany’s Amazon site showing a mouse that doesn’t seem to have a laser. The tracking mechanism looks like a little blue H.A.L. but really seems to be a blue LED paired with a wide-angle lens. According to an Italian website, the new system is suppose to work on more surfaces than ...

Microsoft Blue Track blue LED mouse spotted
SlashGear — Microsoft’s next peripheral announcement, the Blue Track mouse, has been unearthed in advance of the official unveiling.  Intended to launch on September 9th, the teaser campaign featured the slogan “Say goodbye to laser”, a reference to the fact that the Blue Track uses a blue LED and special lens rather than a standard optical mouse. The combination of the wide-angle lens and the blue LED means that the Blue Track can be used on more surfaces than other mice can, including raw wood, granite and carpet.  The mouse has been spotted at the German Amazon.com store and at the YouGame online store. Underneath the Blue Track is a USB wireless ...
