Here's a simple, fantastic idea. This otherwise standard USB cable adorns its wire with an inline SD card reader, creating a 2-in-1 SD reader/USB cable. Apparently it's not just an either/or scenario. The cable can simultaneously charge a mini-USB device and transfer photos to your hard drive. I am finding myself amazed at the amount of useful stuff that is coming out of Brando these days. Here is a cool idea, a standard USB cable, with a card reader built into it; thus eliminating the need for a standalone card reader and reducing the amount of USB cables that will clutter your desk by one.

... and your computer will start reading the SD card. Whatever you have plugged into the cable will continue charging, though.
At the moment, the SD reader only only works one way on the cable, but it would be pretty neat if you somehow had the option to read the card from the device you had plugged in, or vice versa. Even so, it’s a steal at $12, considering you could easily pay that much for a USB cable or a card reader.

... For a little extra flexibility, you could even pop in an SD/microSD adapter in there, but odds are your memory card is already in your phone and ready for a-transferrin’ by cable. When you’ve got an SD card plugged in, communication to the phone is cut off, but charging continues, which ain’t bad.
