According to my source, it is possible to draw patterns by yourself, and this device can project them. I’m not certain how this is done, but I’m guessing that you need to hook the Uchiagehanabi to your computer for that.
You should be able to get the Uchiagehanabi for about $168, but this is in Japan only, and only after August 1st. As for anyone outside Japan, you can pre-order it here for the same price.
