VR via Wiimotes to make shopping more immersive
Newlaunches.com —
wiimote_vr_desktop_3d.jpg This DIY is a really nice VR setup by Timo Fleisch using two Wiimotes; one for hand tracking, one for head tracking. The combination of these devices creates a VR environment that will allow virtual shoppers to examine an object without really going to the local store. The contraption does not really allow the user a feel for the texture so not really immersive as the headset that mimics all five senses we covered earlier for now. [image] [ HackedGadgets ]
