Windows Mobile 6.5 shows up on the Compulab exeda
Engadget —
The more we see Compulab's sort-of-silly, sort-of-awesome exeda, the more we like it -- although the reason we're smitten today might be because it's running what appears to be Windows Mobile 6.5, complete with that "honeycomb" app launcher UI. The company says this is an alpha build of the OS, but it does look farther along than those ...
Honeycomb is in with Windows Mobile
SolSie.com —
Few more screenshots allegedly taken from an alpha version of the next Windows Mobile OS, (whether 6.5 or 7) have leaked to the Web. These pictures are in line with what we have seen previously.
While the Today screen is still similar to the current 6.1 version, the app launcher grabs more attention with its honeycomb based design. The App icons are arranged automatically based of the most frequent use and relevancy to each other in a honeycomb pattern, which should be easy for your thumb to navigate over. A small detail about the X close button has grown larger for apparently finger use. Let’s hope it provide the real close ...
Windows Mobile 6.5 spotted running on Exeda smartphone
SlashGear —
It’s unlikely to win them many friends at Redmond, but Exeda have released photos of their business-centric smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.5 Alpha. According to the latest rumors, the new GUI will automatically sort frequently used apps to the top of the page.
In the second screenshot, the wallpaper can be seen extending both up, to show behind the status bar, and down, to show behind the softkeys; in ...

Is this really Windows Mobile 6.5?
Mobility Site —
I can’t really say, but since it’s being leaked out by an actual manufacturer, maybe. Last week, we saw ROMs pop up that are supposed to be Windows Mobile 6.5. They could very well be the real thing. I am not going to flash my phone to find out though. From the videos we saw, there were hints of what had been leaked out 3 or 4 months ago.
Now, Exedamobile (via) has some photos of a device with a Windows Mobile look that mirror earlier leaks and speculation. This honeycomb page on the left appears to be a finger friendly replacement for the good ole Today Screen. The image on the right shows a media player, ...
