Apple iPhone have been quite frustrated with Google Maps and have been waiting long for the ideal navigation application for Apple. XRoad has taken advantage of this and is offering its G-Map application in the interim. Kicking Tires decided to give the new software a try and while the quality of the software came under criticism, the general product was much appreciated.
To be specific, XRoad does not include every street name in detail during testing, implying that you would have to rely completely on turn-by-turn instructions if you were not already familiar with the location.
