... on the name Xbox G4. You say to-may-to, I say to-mah-to. It’s still a cool mod. The system runs on an 867MHz G4 processor, and has a built-in 60GB hard drive.
Since there wasn’t a way to get the Xbox DVD tray to work, an Apple Combo drive was cut into the side of the console. And thanks to it’s PowerBook roots, the whole thing can run on a rechargeable battery.

I'm not sure I get the point. You take an old laptop that was portable and stick it into something that is decidedly not portable. Uh, cool? If you happen to have an spare Xbox 360 shell lying around, why not check out this mod? It is powered by an 867MHz G4 processor and comes with a 60GB hard drive, although the Xbox 360's DVD tray has been rendered useless, an Apple Combo drive has been thrown into the console for good measure, requiring its side to be cut in order to access it. The entire system can be powered by a rechargeable battery, but I don't think you'd venture too far from a power outlet ...

Pourquoi? la question se pose quand on voit la manipulation. Quelle idée de vider une Xbox 360 et de lui foutre les composants d’un Apple PowerBook G4. On ne saura sans doute jamais ce qui est passé derrière la tête de Phil Herlihy quand il a commencé son délire. Mais c’est culotté, inutile, fun, stupide, donc w3sh.
