UK ad authority declares Apple ad misleading

The UK's Advertising Standards Authority has declared that one of Apple's iPhone ads, which claims that the phone brings "all parts of the internet," is misleading to consumers and should not be aired.

Advertising Standards Authority, a UK ad group, has declared a television ad for the iPhone misleading, and has said the ad should not air again in the UK. "The group said that the advertisement, which claims that 'all the parts of the internet are on the iPhone', is decidedly misleading, since the iPhone's Safari web browser does not render Flash or Java elements."
