The Nokia E71x is one of the first modern Nokia smartphones to reach the carrier subsidized and comes both in a one-off, all-black color scheme and with support for AT 's own services, including the option of using AT Navigator with the GPS instead of Nokia Maps. It continues to sport the 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G and Wi-Fi of the reference version reviewed here but will be significantly less expensive, selling for $100 on a two-year plan with a rebate. Tech Ticker — AT&T today announced its Spring season phone lineup consisting of smartphones and messaging phones. The phones unveiled were Nokia E71x, Samsung Propel Pro, Impression, Magnet, LG Neon and Xenon.   Nokia E71x is the same E71 which is already being sold unlocked in most markets. The E71x will come in black steel finish, operates on Symbian S60 and features Wi-Fi, GPS and bunch of AT&T customized services. Samsung Propel Pro Improves on its Predecessor, Runs on Windows Mobile
Chip Chick — AT&T has announced the Samsung Propel Pro, a successor to their popular Samsung Propel messaging phone. The Propel Pro sports the same type of form factor with a slideout QWERY keyboard. But under the hood things have really gotten a make over. For starters, the new device is running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. Other features include wifi, a speedy 528mhz processor, aGPS, A2DP stereo bluetooth, and a built-in 3-megapixel camera with autofocus.
