In a live episode of Diggnation recorded at Austin's South by Southwest festival, Digg founder and show co-host Kevin Rose claimed to have "confirmation" that the feature would be a centerpiece of the new iPhone OS to be unveiled on Tuesday. Kevin Rose, founder of Digg has got his share of hits and misses with Apple rumors in the past. Now he throws another one regarding the iPhone OS 3.0 that will be unveiled tomorrow. The iPhone OS 3.0 will have the copy/paste feature but won’t have background apps and video functionality. According to him, the copy/paste feature will work by double tapping a word and selecting the desired text. Background apps, apparently won’t feature because erm…it was not destined to while the video function was left out because of some technical difficulty.

Supuestamente mañana Apple anunciaría por fin la nueva versión del sistema operativo de su dispositivo, iPhone OS 3.0, pero no podemos evitar ponernos ansiosos y darle atención a los rumores que corren.
Según afirmó Kevin Rose, fundador de Digg, iPhone OS 3.0 tendrá de una vez por todas copiar y pegar, una función que andará haciendo doble toque en una palabra y seleccionando el texto que querrámos.
Sin embargo, Rose también dio algunos malos pronósticos: esta nueva versión no tendrá aplicaciones en background ni grabará video.
