Gizmodo —
Android is here, and as to be expected with a Google-made mobile OS, there's a bit of Google App fanciness going on. In fact, it's designed with Google Apps in mind so much that whether or not you're a user of Gmail and other services might determine how useful the phone will be to you. Gmail also features a Google Talk presence on Android, thanks to the fact that Gmail gets its own mail app while all other mail services are relegated to a simpler one. You can sync you contacts and appointments ...

Sneak Peek at Google & T-Mobile's Android G1 Applications!
TechDarling —
By now we are all well aware of Google and T-Mobile's answer to the iPhone, the Android G1. If you are a Google lover, or anti-Apple, this is the phone for you.
My opinion? Of course I'm mostly concerned with looks. I like the white-ness of it, but I kind of hate the keypad. It looks like one of those cheap remote controls that comes with your portable DVD player! Or, the crappy remote that is inside the arm rest on the airplane.
So here is the low down on its guts: The G1 has GPS, WiFi, a touchscreen, an accelerometer (how fast does it fall when you throw it up in the air.. dorks), a ...

One of the lead developers walks us through Google Apps in sync with your desktop on the T-Mobile G1. Similar to how Apple’s .Mac application should work, the Android OS does exactly the same, syncing your GMail contacts, calendar, GTalk account, Street View and Google Maps. Neat.
And yeah, the UI is very iPhone-like.
