Palm Quietly Unveils the Treo Pro Smartphone

Early this morning, Palm released a couple of official press photos of the Treo Pro along with a short video. The company didn’t reveal a whole lot of information other than the following that the Treo Pro smartphone features a one-touch Wi-Fi button, GPS, Windows Mobile 6.1 and a high-resolution flush color touch screen.

Slashgear's just found a video of the upcoming Treo Pro, a device that physically looks like the Centro, but runs the touchscreen version of Windows Mobile. handset, whose details have been leaking in a less-discreet-than-Apple

High-resolution photos and a video reveal that the handset will feature a 320-by-320

Palm does not seem to be doing all that well in keeping the hopefully soon to be released Treo Pro under wraps, aside from the few in-the-wild style images, we also saw Palm unveil a few pages on their own website, of course they were quickly taken down.

Palm Treo Pro WM6.1 Smartphone officially launched (again)

After a quickly-pulled early release yesterday, Palm have now officially announced the Treo Pro smartphone. As expected, the Windows Mobile 6.1 device has WiFi b/g, UMTS (triband), GPS and Bluetooth. It’s quadband GSM and has a 320 x 320 flush-fitted touchscreen.
ROM is 256MB and RAM 128MB; memory can be augmented by microSDHC cards up to 32GB in size. There’s also a 2-megapixel camera, standard 3.5mm headphone socket and a microUSB connector.
Palm will be selling the device unlocked in the US, priced at a not-inconsiderable $549, and available in the Fall. It will be priced from ...
