Sony Releases New Walkman PMP in Japan
TechFresh, Consumer Electronics Guide — Sony will release its new Walkman PMP with web browsing capabilities in Japan. Dubbed as the Walkman NW-X1000, the PMP is currently available in 16GB or 32GB of storage space and features a 3.0 inch WQGA OLED display, FM tuner, DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine), and a noise cancellation system. What makes the NW-X1000 special is that it comes with Web browsing capabilities. The player sports Wi-Fi and Web browser for Youtube and Podcasts.
