A group of speed-thirsty Brits have smashed a 100 year-old world record for the fastest mile travelled using a steam powered car.
The British Racing Green car, driven by Charles Burnett III, reached a top speed of 151.7mph, averaging out at 139.8mph over the course of two one-mile runs and smashing the previous record of 127.6mph set way back in 1906.
