CrunchGear — Samsung’s Yepp P3 portable music player is hitting the streets in Korea next month, and she’s a beaut! The 3-inch screen has been augmented with haptic feedback and a fancy Flash-based interface. In 4, 8 and 16 GB models, you can play your standard assortment of audio for up to 30 hours, and video for up to 5 hours. Watch the customizable UI in action after the jump. Via Engadget.

GadgetReview — Geez, I recall the original Samsung Yepp from back in the early 2000s, and the thing was a beast.  And by beast I mean ugly as all hell.  Amazingly though, the player’s name has survived the times and a new version, the P3 is about to hit the Korean market next month.  This slender beaut features a 3-inch screen with haptic feedback, some sort of Flash based interface, mono speaker, aluminum body, 30 hour audio and 5 hour video playback, and comes in sizes 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. Gizmodo — Samsung's YP-P3 looks like a solid followup to the slick-but-limited P2 portable media player. The P3's UI gets a huge update, along with some welcome new features. The P3's form factor is relatively unchanged from the P2: it's now made of aluminum (with an unseemly black bezel around the screen, unfortunately) and the dedicated volume buttons are moved to the top.
